Great product. It is height adjustable as the top half of the door stop screws up and down within the bottom half. It is made of 304 stainless steel and shows absolutely no hint of rusting although it has been in several rainstorms here in Scotland. Fitting is matter of mounting the spring loaded magnetic catch on the door and then attaching the door stop, magnetically, to the catch. By screwing and the hanging door stop base up and down it is possible to achieve the right height and position for mounting. The magnetic catch is strong and will hold the door open in a stiff breeze. It is well engineered, weighty, and built to last.

As described, looks good quality, adjustable feature is good, can't comment on corrosion resistance of stainless steel parts as only just fitted. Note to seller, both spring loaded female parts slightly damaged, the problem here is that you clip the parts together before packing in the nice padded bag. The parts are clipped together at 90 degrees due to the limited size of the carton. As the carton in banged about in the post the shoulder on male part dents the magnetic button of the female part. Just pack the female part outside the padded bag and I think it should be protected.

Wat krisse für bummelige Neunzehnfuffzich? Nen optisch ansprechenden Türstopper, ordentlich und sauber verarbeitet (wenn man von den Hartplastikdübeln mal absieht...), Befestigungsschrauben für Wand und Tür, on top keine Montageanleitung... Fünf Minuten exessives Brainstorming für die fluchtende Montage, dann wie früher bei Wickie die (ICH HABS) Lösung...: Zunächst wird der kleine Teil des Sets auseinander genommen, der an die Tür montiert wird. Grundplatte mit zwei Schrauben (gibt zwei für Holz und zwei für Kunststoff - sehr löblich) anschrauben, alles wieder in richtiger Reihenfolge ins Gehäuse packen und mit dem Gewinde im Gehäuse auf die Grundplatte schrauben. Wer schon mal Gardinenstangen montiert hat, kennt das von den Wandträgern... Nun wird die Abdeckung von der Wandhalterung geschraubt, damit man an die Löcher in der Grundplatte kommt. Tür auf und überprüfen, ob die Länge des Stopper so passt. Wenn nicht, die Kugel am Feingewinde so weit herausdrehen, bis die Kugel satt in der Halbschale des türseitigen Gegenstücks liegt (bitte keine Zuschauer dulden, hat n bißchen was ordinäres...). Keine Sorge, da fällt nix runter, der Magnet in der Halbschale macht das schon... Den Wandhalter nun so zur Wand ausrichten, damit die Platte eben an der Wand anliegt (vorne hält ja der Magnet), mit einem kurzen (!) Bleistift (gibt es zu Hauf im gelb-blauen Möbelhaus) die Bohrlöcher anzeichnen (mit nem Kuli kommste nämmich nich hinner de Tür...) Bohrer an, 6er Löcher rein, glücklich sein. Nicht vergessen, den Bohrstaub wegzumachen, sonst wars das mit "oh danke, Liebling"... Die Wandhalterung ansetzen, Schrauben rein drehen und am Schluss noch die Abdeckung wieder drauf Schrauben, fertig. Funktionskontrolle, Schatz rufen und loben lassen. Kleiner Tipp zum Schluss: Unbedingt vernünftige Dübel verwenden, diesen blassen Hartplastedingern trau ich nich so weit, wie ich sie schmeißen könnte... Bin ich zufrieden? Ja, absolut. Passgenauigkeit, Optik, Funktion - alles tip top. Daher echte fünf Sterne, trotz keiner Anleitung und Spielkramdübel. Aber jeder hat ne Grabbelkiste, da wird sich geeigneter Ersatz finden...

Diese Türstopper sind absolut super ! Wusste bis vor kurzem nicht mal das es so was tolles gibt! Wir haben ihn oberhalb an der Wand befestigt ! Chic sieht er auch aus und ein Luftzug kann jetzt keine Tür Plautzer mehr fabrizieren!
