I have been looking for a simple handle for a while to attach to a fairly heavy frame used as a target backstop. I saw this and thought it would be perfect for the job. The handle itself is not expensive and comes with 2 round head screws. It is perfect for outside use and door furniture where a more industrial look is fine (such as a shed door). The handle is constructed of a simple flat strip of metal bent into shape with no bracing so could possibly bend with excessive force or weight applied. This was my main concern when I got the handle as the frame I was attaching it to was quite heavy but I need not as worried as I have to say the metal is quite thick and seems robust enough for all but the heaviest abuse. In fact I would say the single screw at each end of the handle is probably likely to pull out before the handle deforms. The black coating to protect it from rust seems fairly well applied and robust also - It didn't chip or scratch easily when I attached it to the frame. I don't get the impression it will flake easily with a bit of sun and rain so it should stand up to the weather - only time will tell. Overall, this is a simple product and meets expectations so I would recommend.

Simple, does the job - used on a set of sliding doors screening a long cupboard of utility shelves and domestic power meters and consumer units. Had a few similar ones, and wanted one extra to match. Probably better value to buy several rather than just one, as I did, but that's all I needed.

I actually ordered this for a different purpose than a sliding door. I will be installing on my garden gate. It's excellent quality and has been well made. The size is perfect. I really like the style of it, it looks modern and fantastic against wood. Very happy with it.

I got this handle to use on a cupboard door. It came with the screws I needed to fit it, so I was able to put it in place straight away. It was really easy to install and feels like a well-made and solid handle. I think it's good value for money and does the job I needed it to. Highly recommended!

I used this handle on the outside of my greenhouse door and it is perfect. Lightweight, easy to fit and sturdy enough for such a light door. We have large sliding doors between our living room and hall and I wondered if this would be sturdy enough for those…I think it would be, but it’s quite thin, so perhaps not the most comfortable for use on heavy doors. That said, the price is under £10, so it’s fair value.

This is a good quality black metal barn door handle made from steel so it won't rust or go out of shape. You could also use it for other purposes such as kitchen door handles, but you would need to buy the relevant number needed. It looks good, it's easy to fit and comfortable to hold when using it.

Great handle. Not on a sliding door, just on a standard hinged door. Does the job as it should. It looks the part, I used the screws provided as they're black and look nice (even if the door doesn't LOL). It is well made and well finished. IT is straight edged, so not softly styled but that's just right for what we're using it for.
